Over the past few weeks we have been working with the Handmade Kitchen Company to create this stunning cooking area for their customer, bringing granite and wood together.
We are fortunate to work with some amazing bespoke kitchen companies. They specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of handmade kitchens, often hand-crafted using traditional methods. We help to add the finishing touches – granite or quartz – but being able to bring together our respective skills and craftsmanship to create truly individual and unique kitchens is a real privilege.
Our role here was to create the black Angola granite cupboards and splashbacks around the oven and hob. The dark Angola granite works particularly well here, against the stainless steel of the cooker and the beautiful natural tones of the wood surround and units.
Black Angola granite provides a more interesting alternative to plain black granite. Its natural, subtle grey and black flecks and mottles are interspersed with pearlised elements that reflect the light and add depth to the worktops. Every piece is different and unique.
Each element works together to transform what could be a very functional space into the main feature of the kitchen.
If you have a kitchen project coming up, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us or the Handmade Kitchen Company. We would be happy to talk through your plans and see how we can help.
